Opera Appreciation

Sessions will be held at The Downs, SW20. Starting promptly at 2pm and typically lasting 2 hours (with two sessions for longer operas) including an overview of the composer and a synopsis of the opera, followed by a screening in a small cinema setting (with a capacity of 15+ people), with a quality sound system. The aim is to provide members with an eclectic choice, ranging from Monteverdi to Harrison Birtwistle.
